Hampton Inn By Hilton & Suites Charlottesville-At The University

Had not stayed at a Hampton Inn before. The room was as good as any Marriott. The staff were all very friendly. Will stay here again rather than the Omni.

Liked: The room was clean, connecting to the TV was easy and breakfast was good.
Disliked: The room didn't have a couch or a kitchen. The last Hilton I stayed in did and since the cost of this room was more than my last stay it felt like I paid for more and got less.

Liked: Room was clean
Disliked: I booked and paid for the room from Friday and checking out Monday. When I arrived Friday I was told they were expecting me to arrive Saturday and checking out on Tuesday. I told the clerk Autumn that was a mistake and she told me to keep my voice down??? When I showed her the confirmation that proved I was correct she said she would need to charge me separately for staying on Friday even though I paid for the 3 days including Friday in advance. She said that would be refunded. It has been a nightmare trying to fix this. Booking.com kept saying it was the hotel I needed to have fix this. The Hotel said I needed to have Booking .com fix this. I am now going to file a dispute through my credit card company.
