Hampton Inn By Hilton & Suites Chapel Hill/Carrboro

Liked: Tavern right next door to the hotel and Cat's Cradle across a parking lot - PERFECT.

It was so nice to walk to the Cat's Cradle event from the hotel. I will definitely stay here again. Also, the front desk staff was very helpful with places to eat and the staff at breakfast was so kind. They made us a sweet treat in the morning that was so thoughtful! :) Loved the experience!

Liked: Fair breakfast . I’ve had much better at other Hampton Inns
Disliked: Elevators did not work a lot of time. Breakfast was fair not that great.Had to ask for clean toweks and toilet paper Room smelled like a dog had been in there.

Liked: Nice and respectful staff. Good attempt to resolve issues. I appreciate their consideration to help. This is my second time staying there, and they have been consistent with the kindness.
Disliked: Main problem was the horrible dirty smell in the room that I have never experienced before. They had no air sprays because they stated guests may be allergic. However, the discomfort with not being able to take normal breaths was incredibly difficult after one night, so they offered me a cleaner and bigger room the next night. I was very disappointed with their cleaning standards, but appreciated the effort to correct my concern.

Liked: Location was great. Easy to walk around the city.
Disliked: Other than our room the entire building was so hot. Maybe the air wasn’t working - but it was very uncomfortable. Stephanie who was there when we first arrived for checking was great. The next day the staff didn’t speak to us at all. It was odd.
