Liked: Room; location.

Pleasant

Liked: The staff at breakfast was constantly refilling and working to keep everyone moving with plenty of options. I loved the location. It was easy to walk to where we were going and to restuarants and shops. Lots of towels at the pool. Parking was easy.
Disliked: Some of the outlets in the room didn't work. The TV screen was blue and we had to request a new tv. The microwave didn't work, only one out of four of the reading lights on the bed worked. While at the pool, my child needed the restroom, we waited a very long time for the person to finish with only public restroom on the terrace floor and when the came out we realized it was the front desk worker.

Comfortably Convenience

Liked: Location was perfect! Covered parking garage spcific to the hotel. Staff was friendly and checkin/out was easy and quick. Room was spacious and clean! Breakfast was included. Plenty of towels and the shower was nice and clean! The bathroom light was automatic and bright. Appears the hotel was renovated and had some additional work going on near the parking garage- hopefully making more improvements
Disliked: Parking fees were daily and seemed excessive. TV picture was oddly dark- no one could adjust it. It would be nice to have more space at the front of the hotel for check in. The drive up to drop bags off was small and got full very quickly/easily, after only about two cars. No safe inside of the room. Elevators were very slow. It would be great to have a connected structure (instead of two separate ones) for the hotel entrance and the parking garage.

Walking distance to everything Decatur...

Liked: Hotel was conveniently located, everything that we were looking for and wanted to do was in walking distance. Very friendly staff, everything was nice and clean. We’d definitely go back.

Better than average stay

Liked: I appreciate the location—near shopping and restaurants. The staff are friendly and efficient. The mattress was a little spongy or soft and may need replacing. Room in general was above average. I recommend the Hampton Inn in Downtown Decatur GA.
Disliked: Mattress should be inspected for possible replacement. Also, breakfast items such as eggs and meats should be warm even towards the 10 AM “closing time.”
