Hampton Inn By Hilton St. Augustine Beach

The hotel is a short drive to the St. Augustine Ampitheater, maybe a 5 minute ride. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room is nicely decorated - decent size with all the amenities we needed.

Liked: Clean; nice staff; quiet; great view of the beach; very nice free breakfast buffet.
Disliked: A/C was marginal, but good enough.

Disliked: Facility allowed dogs in the rooms. Dogs were barking. Who wants to stay in a room where dogs have been? Not us, when we choose a cleaner environment. This place was not sanitary. Animal hair in bedroom. My husband is highly allergic to the dander.

Liked: The room above us their air conditioner condensation drain pipe dripped on our ac unit....the water seeped threw a seam in the window and soaked the carpet in our room!! We were moved to a different room.

Liked: Rooms were clean and spacious . Beach access was great
Disliked: No water pressure in shower. Pillows were small and uncomfortable. Hallways in level four were hot. Pool and hot tub close at dawn. Breakfast on first day was limited. No scrambled eggs or waffles staff said they ran out the day before. Limited options on cereal.maintenance stated they couldn’t do anything about shower pressure. Takes 15 minutes to get shampoo and soap off your body. Ridiculous at price we paid. Motel also allows pets so allergies are a concern not including the barking.
