Good and bad

Liked: Breakfast eggs, cinnamon waffle you make yourself, oatmeal, and muffins. Room size, separate door to close when taking shower, fridge, and tv with Netflix.
Disliked: Breakfast biscuits & gravy. No clothes drawers, just 3 metal baskets. No overhead lights for middle of the room. No towel racks if you want to reuse the towels. Rough toilet paper. No drawer on the night stands. Uncomfortable chair, no padding. No writing pad/pen to leave notes. Loud air conditioning unit and it cycles every two minutes for 30 seconds. Everytime your body moves, the bed creaks. Bathroom drain plug would not keep water from seeping out thus it never fills up the basin.

Liked: The river view was great! Excellent walking paths for as far as you wish to walk. Front desk people were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was as expected. When will they learn that egg yolks and whole milk are actually healthy?
Disliked: Our initial "river view" room had very little view of the river because of the angle of the building and a wall of windbreak trees. Watch out for that. Shouldn't be charged as a river view when you can only see the river by standing in one corner.

Liked: Great location next to the Riverfront Trail and Park. Dog friendly. Balcony overlooking Columbia River. Clean, comfortable rooms.
Disliked: I have no suggestions for improvement.

Friendly and helpful staff and...

Liked: The hotel is right along the river. The staff so helpful. I had trouble getting the printer to print up documents I need and they were able to help me get them printed. They were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great as well.
