Disappointing. The staff were great! Friendly and helpful. The facility is in poor condition

Liked: Convenient location
Disliked: The hotel was dirty, it is old and badly needs updated. Many small things like door knobs etc are broken. The bath tub needs recaucked, the tile floor had large cracks. It was supposed to be a non smoking room, but had the smell of stale cigarette smoke especially when the AC was on. The room next door had a smoker whose second hand smoke filtered into the room through the air handling system. The breakfast was very minimal compared to other Hampton Inns. We used to stay exclusively at Hamptons, but on this trip we have experienced three that were similar to this one. It seems that Hampton has many of its properties that need remodeled. Yet they are near the top of the price range for this class of hotel. We are now looking at other options instead.

Liked: The breakfast staff and morning front desk staff was outstanding!
Disliked: The night clerk was sitting in the lobby coloring in a coloring book. She reluctantly got up to process our check-in, without speaking. When I asked how SHE was doing, she replied “I’m here.” She maintained the same demeanor during our 3-night stay.
