Disliked: Front desk clerk was initially stoic and listless. One of your maids was extremely rude, ignored me twice. Darker, full figured desk clerk was very friendly and warm. She needs a raise. Parking was a huge surprise and disappointment. $140 for parking is insane. Juice was watery.

Liked: Location near Frenchman St was excellent. Secured self-valet parking onsite. Friendly, safe, comfortable, clean...all the positives. Really enjoyed our stay there. Would definitely stay again.

Liked: With the minimal exception of a damaged sign between the 2 elevators on the lobby floor, the hotel looked new and very clean.
Disliked: I always want bacon or breakfast sausage and eggs with breakfast, only had bacon 1 of the 4 mornings. 1 morning there was some kind of breakfast baked thing with eggs, but a biscuit base and no breakfast meat. I am on a low carb diet so that morning I had little to eat.Also, was not able to connect our Roku device to the TV.

The best place to stay...

Liked: The coffee was amazing and the breakfast was hot and convenient. It's not award winning but good enough to tide you over. The location was perfect just two blocks off Frenchman and a 10 min walk to Cafe du Monde. The hotel is brand new despite what you see on google maps street view. The staff were super friendly. You have to remember New Orleans is part of the south so no one is in a big rush. You should slow down too and enjoy. It was quiet and we slept like babies with the super comfortable bed and pillows.
Disliked: My wife wished there was a better full length mirror in the room.

Liked: This couldn't be a better location for exploring quarter while also being neighbourhood adjacent.

Liked: Very clean.
Disliked: Negligible soundproofing from street and train noise - particularly train whistles around 5am. It appears area is in process of being revitalized but did not feel the safest to walk after dark.
