Nothing wrong with it but...

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice. I particularly liked the fruit salad.
Disliked: Mainly we just thought it was overpriced, although maybe that just reflects a weekend on a festival day, but for the most expensive hotel of our holiday it was also the least comfortable. Specific things: they very kindly gave us a portable bed for a kid, but the sheets were dirty. The treadmill broke in the fitness center. There were no complimentary toothbrushes when we lost one of ours - fair enough normally but for an Expensive Hotel, that's pretty unusual. The location and look of the hotel is not great- it's the other side of a derelict house from a Walmart car park, and it is a concrete block, and Fairhaven ain't midtown Manhattan. The pool has an industrial fence between it and the car park which it's in. This all probably makes it seem worse than it is, which is overall not too bad, but the Hilton name plus the Hilton price made us expect a ton more. On the other hand, if I had to stay in the area, I wouldn't avoid it - there's nothing wrong with it and I suspect the dirty sheets and broken treadmill were just bad luck, but don't go expecting the Ritz.
