Great hotel

Liked: First, the hotel is in an area with a few restaurants (as well as a Harley store) nearby. The cute town of Medina was merely minutes away with its wonderful small stores, cute houses, and deer everywhere starting around 6 p.m. I've never seen so many deer simply in people's front yards.Although positioned right off the interstate, we did not hear any traffic at all.The hotel itself was endearing because of the staff. The people staffing the front desk were welcoming, and we saw one particular guy focusing on making the common areas nice for guests. At one point, he was on the floor defrosting a refrigerator containing drinks for sale. We also appreciated the coffee and hot chocolate available around the clock as well as the free peppermints.Beds were comfortable, and the room offered great shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, plenty of fluffy towels, an extra blanket, etc.Also, this Hampton Inn offers a great breakfast. In addition to three hot entrees and oatmeal with toppings, they also offer two waffle machines. The only problem with those was that no spray was available to oil the machines, so our waffles stuck to them and did not come out as pretty waffles -- more like waffle pieces.
Disliked: The only problem we had was a refrigerator that did not work. If we hadn't been carrying a cooler and could take advantage of the free ice, that would have been a problem. I did report the refrigerator problem as we checked out, so I hope it was fixed.

Sucked! Worst hotel ever!

Liked: This was a horrible experience- arrived late (as had mentioned would happen when I booked the room) and they had given my room away. I was told there was nothing they could do. Told would have to contact booking.com- tried and was told via AI that they were sorry for the inconvenience and that I would have to contact the hotel… NEVER would recommend this hotel or this booking company ever again! Horrible!!! Sent away and told to try another hotel. I told them they better not charge me for the room- checked today and they did. Going to have a conversation with manager and already told credit card company that I denied the payment. Hampton Inn Medina is awful!

Liked: Very clean. Staff was very helpful with me when I couldn't get there until after midnight

Disliked: Used soap left in the bathroom shower. Made me wonder if it was cleaned.Out of eggs and other food at 8:30am., long wait for more to be brought out.
