A great place to watch...

Liked: Very nice facility. The pool and workout equipment were great. Everything is kept very clean. The rooms were quiet and beds comfortable. The view from our room of Lake Superior was fantastic. The breakfast lounge was a great place to watch the sunrise
Disliked: There was nothing I did not like about the property

Liked: The best part about this hotel is the location. The breakfast area has a direct view of Lake Superior. We prolonged our breakfasts to enjoy the view and relaxed in the afternoon on the outdoor patio with the same view. The beds were comfortable.

A Wonderful Stay in Marquette...

Liked: This was our first trip to Marquette, and staying at the Hampton Inn truly made it a memorable one. We spent six nights here, and the spacious room made it perfect for our family—never once did we feel cramped. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the staff’s upkeep every two days added a great touch of comfort and care.We were lucky to have a lakeside view, and waking up to the sunrise through the Lower Harbor Ore Dock each morning was absolutely breathtaking. The location couldn’t have been better—close to downtown, near all our planned excursions, and just minutes from larger supermarkets for any snacks or forgotten essentials.What really stood out was the staff. From check-in to check-out, every single person we interacted with was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It made a big difference and added a personal touch to our stay.We also made great use of the 24-hour fitness center, pool, and hot tub—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Without a doubt, this will be our go-to place whenever we return to the U.P. Highly recommended!
