Liked: The breakfast was very nice and looked appetizing. The breakfast setup was clean and orderly. It was appealing. The breakfast room was also very nice. There were ample and comfortable places to sit. I stayed there longer because it was a nice room....Also, our bed was very comfortable, and the room was nice and clean.
Disliked: We were in rooms that join together, so there was a door that did not keep the sounds out from next door. We were next to a family with children....who acted like children, as expected. They didn't shout, but they were not quiet. That was not too bad, but.....they had 2 dogs that were very noisy at times. The dogs CONTINUOUSLY barked when, I suspect, the people were out of the room. It sounded like the dogs were in our room barking, and there was nothing we could do about it. It was very unpleasant. I look for "quiet" in a hotel. It was not quiet or peaceful. It felt stressful.

Liked: Perfect location.
Disliked: Wished they had mentioned that they were remodeling. Though the remodel didn’t affect the stay just breakfast. Grab & go with a little disappointing.

Disliked: Messy from construction. Breakfast was in a bag and there was no notification prior to checking in that breakfast was in a bag. We always use this establishment when traveling to Morganton but will reconsider next time.
