Superb

Liked: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool was clean. Our room was immaculate. Breakfast was fully stocked.
Disliked: There were groups of kids running around from room to room. They were loud, and disruptive. We kept getting woke up between 10pm-4am.

Disliked: Decaff coffee was only lukewarm and essentially tasteless . Would have also liked a light by the couch to read by and a channel guide for the tv .

Disliked: This was the weirdest room layout I believe I have seen. Huge room, yuck. King bed did not face tv. Light on only one side of the bed. Most outlets are loose. Barn door to the bath was so heavy , I suspect many would be unable to close. Soap dispenser at sink literally higher than my head (at 5'5") and 3' from sink. Toilet tissue , do they make 1/2 ply now? Pretty dirty. Carpet pretty gross. Breakfast was typical bad quality on paper plates and plasticware. Kalamazoo had a " boil water" order, which is not a hotel issue, but the desk did NOT mention it at all, I happened to read the city health dept letter while standing at check-in. I mention , so do you have bottled water in the room? She says no - you have to ask for it. Really!! What makes me most mad, I paid $180 for this room, based on the name, other rates in the city were more than 35% less, but I thought " these rooms are usually a little nicer".

Disliked: The pool was dirty. Water was very cloudy. The whole pool had scum on the sides of it. You can tell it does not get serviced. The amount of chlorine was overwhelming. The hallways were dirty. The bedroom was dirty. I will not be staying here again. I do not recommend it.
