Liked: I don't eat breakfast food, but the coffee was great. My husband did eat and he enjoyed it. The employees were amazing and friendly.
Disliked: They were remodeling but I will have to say, it didn't bother us one bit, we were out of the room enjoying this cute little German town

Excellent Experience

Liked: First off, the location was perfect! Right on the water and short walk to downtown. We arrived earlier than we thought just to perfect traffic in Atlanta! No joke!! Well, Hannah was able to check us in early! When my travel buddy and I opened the door to our room , we were greeted to unexpected up grade! We were amazed and delighted to the extra space! The breakfast was so good also. I loved the extra touches for each area. Sitting by the water and chatting away was how we ended each night! The only thing I would say was negative would be the lights in the main room. It felt like just a small light over sink would have been great, and a coffee table or extra side table. Thank you again, Hannah! Us 2 travel buddies enjoyed our stay!

Don’t think I’ll be staying...

Liked: I loved that it is right on the Chattahoochie River and within walking distance to downtown Helen. The breakfast buffet was good and they typically have something different every day. They also have a fresh batch of baked cookies each day for the guests to enjoy, and an unlimited 24 hour juice and coffee bar.
Disliked: I wasn’t going to leave a review, but after getting home and finding out that someone at the hotel hacked into our Netflix account, I felt compelled. The stay its self was fine. The beds are very uncomfortable and firm. It wasn’t the cleanest room by far (black stuff in the toilet when we first flushed it, dead spiders on the floor in the bathroom, towels with stains). The bathtub doesn’t drain very well, so water accumulated up to my ankles while showering. Staff is extremely friendly, which saddens me that someone would hack our Netflix account and change the email associated with our account, locking us out. When we got home, we had to contact Netflix and have everything changed. I just really hope they weren’t able to get any bank or personal information. Our fault for forgetting to log out of our Netflix upon leaving, however it seems they definitely have some dishonest people that work there. I find it extremely unlikely for it to have been a guest considering the hotel had many vacancies.
