Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: Unfortunately, my family and I had a bad experience here. I hate to publicly slam a business, but I’d want to know these things before spending almost $600 for 2 nights. I booked through booking.com — we don’t have the opportunity to travel often, so I took a lot of time to find a hotel and a room my family would like. We checked in and went up to our room which was supposed to be a deluxe king size bed room. Instead of a king size bed and a couch, the room had 2 double beds and no couch. I tried to call the front desk but the phone didn’t work, so I went downstairs.I was told that they switched my room because there was no availability for what I reserved. They said that third parties like booking.com often overbook and there’s nothing they could do about it. I don’t understand how a room you reserved could not be available. And I don’t understand why they didn’t tell me that when I checked in. Also, no one ever came to clean our room. The cleaning staff was super nice when we saw them in the halls, but they totally skipped our room. Which makes sense because our bathroom had an ant situation happening. So to review: I paid almost $600 for 2 nights in a room I didn’t reserve with a phone that didn’t work and a bathroom with an ant problem and no one to clean the room.I received a text from “Jess” asking how our stay was on a number scale and I responded with a 2. She asked if there was a good time to call to discuss. I told her anytime after 3pm. She said, “it’s okay thank you.” I don’t know what that means, but it’s 7pm and no one has called, so I’m assuming it means she’s not calling. Booking.com even reached out to them and they didn’t respond to you either.

Terrific location and terrific stay!

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. The mini cheese omelettes were wonderful and my sister had a delicious waffle. And the staff were wonderful. Kareem was on the Front desk when we arrived early and he arranged early check in for us with for a small additional cost: $35.--. The early check in was very helpful since it gave is a chance to freshen up before going to a lengthy Memorial Service in Westerly, RI followed by a family reception.
Disliked: We like everything.

Disappointing and paid for 2...

Liked: Breakfast, location, parking
Disliked: Room not ready until 9pm. !! Reeked of smoke, someone had smoked in room the night before and set off sprinklers. Front desk guy seemed indifferent. Told us there were no adjoining rooms but one of our groups rooms was an adjoining and the family on the other side of the door checked in at same time as us. Could have easily swapped rooms!
