Very Disappointing

Disliked: I find it hard to believe that our room would be the only one that seemed to have so many issues. For the price we paid for the room, that we booked for 2 nights and only stayed 1, we expected more that’s for sure. And yes we left after 1 night and still paid for 2 even after the front desk girl asked why we were checking out, and then we were charged for 3 nights according to my credit card and the receipt emailed to me. Took another 2 days to actually get a hold of someone from the hotel. The girl claims she fixed it however ithe credit has yet to show up on our credit card.

Liked: Good location.
Disliked: It was not clean enough. Old carpet everywhere. I was not aware the hotel was pet friendly. We saw a dog on our floor, which made us feel uncomfortable because our kids are allergic to dogs.

Liked: It’s a beautiful location right by Seneca Lake, the little lady who does the breakfast is amazing! Nice to see such pride!
Disliked: I’ve stayed here many times over the years and it’s starting to look a little shabby. At $300 a night it’s expensive for what you get.

Liked: The location was super with access to main roads and restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was handy and good.
Disliked: When we arrived there was one half roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. We were able to pick more up at the desk. There was a mass of some type of insect in the corner of the ice machine room. The towels in the pool were little more than washcloths. Housekeeping did not make the beds.

Disliked: Pool was out of service for most of the day - we were there one night, but both days, it was out of service in the day. It would open at 5pm, which was rather late. Desk chair needs replacement.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Cleaning staff was courteous and responded quickly to questions and requests.
Disliked: Front desk had little direction in restaurants surrounding property. Room/facilities were in the worn side
