Liked: The staff making breakfast were very kind and happy! The hot tub was very warm!
Disliked: When we got to the hotel it didn’t smell great in the lobby. We checked in and went up to our room, and as soon as we walked in, it smelled like sewer. We knew we couldn’t sleep in it, especially with my sister being pregnant. The filters were also sitting on top of the AC unit and super dusty. We went back down to see if they could change us to a new room. The host said they were overbooked and they could only get us into a room with one king sized bed. We had 3 people, so we needed a room with two queens. We asked if they could have the cleaners come clean our room again, but she said they had left for the weekend and all she could do was come spray it with Lysol. We asked if we could have a room with a pull-out couch so we could all fit, but she said they didn’t have those. We asked if we could at least have a cot, but she said their rooms aren’t allowed to have cots because of the fire hazard. We asked if there was ANY other solution, and she said there wasn’t. We asked to speak to her manager but she said her manager was gone until Monday… so we asked if she could at least call her to see what they could do for us. She went into the back room for a few minutes so we couldn’t hear what she was saying, and then came out with her manager on speaker for the last sentence of their conversation and we heard the manager say there was nothing they could do. Since we booked through a third party, they couldn’t get us a refund and they couldn’t even guarantee that we get a room with two queens (even though that’s what we payed for). We asked if they could get us two rooms with King sized beds so we could all have somewhere to sleep, but she said we’d have to make a new booking and pay for both rooms. She then proceeded to help the person behind us instead of helping us find a solution.

Liked: Most of the staff members are kind and helpful. We came with my daughter’s roller derby group. I was very proud of how kind and respectful the kids were being. one of the employees was annoyed and not kind to the kids. My daughter tried paying for a snack with her debit card and got yelled at. I wish I got the employees name. It was not professional.
