Good place to stay

Going next door to another...

Disliked: While I do understand remodeling, the hotel should let customers know PRIOR to making a reservation that the hotel is under renovation. The pool was closed (we were given the option to go next door to the Holiday Inn to utilize their pool). This meant walking outside (literally) across the parking lot to gain access to another facilities pool. *If I had known this, I would have elected to stay at the Holiday Inn. This was horrible (particularly traveling with children, one of which has special needs). Leaving the pool area (walking outside, wrapped in another hotel’s linen was totally unacceptable). The hotel then asks on their own survey which amenity we were able to utilize and listed the pool (which is totally under renovation). I paid for a stay to include an in-door pool. If this amenity was not available, it should have been noted and communicated during the reservation (booking) process. Due to the fact that I utilized Booking and prepaid, I could not ask for a refund. Totally unacceptable!

Good Value, Excellent Location

Liked: Location was great along with the breakfast.
Disliked: Room service was a little lacking, although fresh towels were provided, the bed seemed to be just an afterthought and the covers simply put over it

Great stay!

Liked: The hotel was very quiet and it was in a very good area that we felt so safe. Even though they were modeling, our room was very clear and the floor you're on was very clean and comfortable and there was no noise for the remodeling at all. I liked how they had coffee for us all the time and it was really good dark coffee. The television worked well. The bed was comfortable and the pillows too. I love the heat that doesn't blow out of a heater because that heater blowing can dry a person's head right out
Disliked: The staff was not very friendly but they weren't really unfriendly --they just were like --there. So it really isn't negative it's just that you kind of expect them to be a little friendlier

The worst attitude from

Liked: The facility was clean.
Disliked: The staff didn’t inform us at check in that the hotel was being renovated on the upper floor. We checked in at about 4:15am and asked for a later checkout so we could get extra sleep. The room they gave us was directly under the room they were using to load in the construction materials. The horrific noise started at shortly after 8am. When I complained to the desk they informed me that their policy would have been to charge us for our room even if they had told us they were renovating and using the room directly above us and we didn’t want to stay.
