Disappointed with overall experience.

Liked: Breakfast and kitchen staff were the best part of the facility. Room cleanliness was acceptable.
Disliked: Graffiti on walls and filth on area around the elevators. Ice machine not working. No spare toilet paper in room. Air conditioner had too much variance in temperature before turning back on. Young desk clerk was a jerk and lacked personality and friendliness. Other working staff was friendly and courteous. Least desirable of all Hampton Inns I have stayed in in the past.

This hotel provided a comfortable,...

Liked: We had one of the newly renovated rooms. It was extremely comfortable as well as stylish. We loved the new bathroom design, very functional. The bed was exceptionally comfortable as is usual at a Hampton Inn.
Disliked: I didn't know before I booked the room that there actually would be no standard breakfast included. One of the things I like best about staying at a Hampton Inn is the breakfast, especially the sausage gravy and biscuits. This hotel was under renovations, so only a Grab and Go breakfast was provided. While I am appreciative that of the fact that any breakfast was provided, I was looking forward to what Hampton usually provides. I didn't find out otherwise until I arrived for check in and by then it was too late to change my mind. We didn't even partake in the Grab and Go breakfast but ate elsewhere the next morning. This instance, however, will not keep us from booking Hampton Inns in the future.
