Good quality overall.
Liked: Good location. Convenient. Pleasant decor. Decent value.
Disliked: Lack of options for eating later in the day.

Two factors ruined our overnight...
Liked: Lovely pool, nice breakfast, comfortable bed.
Disliked: The ventilation system is a disaster. As we exited the elevator on the 2nd floor we immediately noticed a loud noisy sound resembling a giant hive of bees or maybe the sound of an airport runway. We hoped that this noise would not follow us into our room, but sadly we were disappointed. The loud low pitched humming sound persisted. So annoying. I felt like leaving, but we had checked in after 8 hours on the road. We were tired and didn’t want to head out to look for alternative accommodation. Then we looked for glasses to enjoy a glass of wine after a long day on the road. There were none to be found. I asked at the front desk for them to be delivered. I was informed that glassware was no longer available at Hampton Inns due to breakage and theft. Really? Kidding? We have been at less expensive hotels where there are always two glasses available for drinks at the end of a long day. Here we were only offered paper cups. No thank you! We expect to feel comfortable and relaxed at a hotel of this calibre. Hilton, no less! Sipping wine from a paper cup while enduring a loud thrumming noise in the background? Very disappointing. Hampton Inns by Hilton are off our list.

Passable
Disliked: Like I do with all my stays at hotels, I made sure to mention that it was in the utmost importance that my room had no feather/down pillows or comforters as I am asthmatic and it was important for my health. We checked in and I checked the top pillows and they were polyfilled and so I lay down, I quickly started to have labored breathing and stripped the other pillows to find that the other pillows were feather. My partner brought them downstairs to have them replaced but we needed to educate the staff on how to read the tags on the difference between synthetic filled pillows and feather filled pillows. I was very lucky that I did not end up having to go to the hospital with an asthma attack. The hotel should however know the difference for even minor cases of allergies. This is the first time a hotel ignores my requests, doesn't respond back to me and doesn't know how to check their pillows. It was alarming.
