A relaxing one night stay.

Liked: Great location, buffet breakfast was good and had a lot of choice.
Disliked: I couldn't work the air conditioning but also I didn't ask for help so my fault.

Great location, not so great...

Liked: Great location in the city centre, lovely bar area and breakfast area.
Disliked: Our bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable we could feel the springs on the mattress. Our room was at the front of the property and we could hear music coming from all the bars and restaurants in the street until just after midnight which wasn’t what we were expecting for the price of the hotel. Quite a bog standard room. Would avoid staying here again because of it.

Liked: Location is excellent just off the High Street and close to the Cathedral and Roman Museum. Hotel clean and modern and staff very helpful.
Disliked: Food offering, including breakfast is about right, but our pizza was overdone.

Bring ear plugs

Liked: Location is ideal. Shame about the £25 to park at the whitefriars. Breakfast was good but loads of people jostled together. Paper thin walls so we could hear the nose from the next room till after midnight.
Disliked: Very basic for the price we paid. A couple of bottles of water in the room in a heatwave and cheaper parking would have been good.

Liked: Location was the key and all the staff were very friendly and helpful
Disliked: Mattress felt a little worn out and the lighting above the sink in the bathroom could do with being a lot brighter.
