Don't stay here

Liked: The room was clean, newly built or completely renovated. The entire hotel appears to be new. The bed and bedding were comfortable.
Disliked: There were several problems regarding my stay, the primary one being my fellow hotel guests, which appeared to be a group of high school or college students on some kind of school travel trip. The kids were noisy late into the late evening and during the night. They hung out in the hallway, talking loudly. They entered and left rooms along the hall continually, knocking loudly on doors and slamming them almost continuously. A similar situation began again at 4 am, when the kids apparently returned from partying outside the hotel. When reserving my room, I requested a quiet room. My request, far from being honored, was completely ignored. I was housed among a group of partying teenagers.The room had a coffee maker and foil packets of coffee, but there were no coffee cups or drinking cups of any kind.The night staff consisted of a male clerk who was anything but friendly. He clearly is in the wrong business. I actually felt I was an inconvenience for him, and he couldn't get rid of me fast enough.The complimentary breakfast was another nightmare. Not only were most of the offerings unappealing, but I actually thought the fruit had been left out so long that it might have made me sick if I had eaten it. I chose the dark roast coffee, but even that was weak and tasted like dishwasher. The coffee was, inexplicably, located at least a 100-foot walk from all the other breakfast fare.I offered the Hampton Inn management a chance to speak with me about my very unsatisfying stay, and perhaps make some effort to reimburse me or at least apologize,, but they have not taken the time to contact me. Given all the other deficiencies of this hotel, an unresponsive management staff is not a surprise. They simply don't care.I would advise anyone seeking overnight accommodations in the Buffalo area to avoid the Hampton Inn.
