It all worked out

Liked: Breakfast was exceptional! Location of the hotel is excellent as well. Located in BC it was along the main road through downtown - clean and well lit. Found a great Thai food restaurant meters away from the hotel whose food was exceptional. We were able to go for a great walk and get some needed exercise after a 12 hour car ride from where we started. Hotel was clean. Hotel located next to city building with first responders so we had zero worries about safety.
Disliked: For some reason our third party booking was having issues when we checked in. Check in took about 20 minutes even though we had confirmation numbers etc... Unfortunately during our stay the air conditioner in our room stopped working properly and began to whine loudly and emit fowl order - probably bearings. So at 130 AM I went to the front desk and asked to be moved. Fortunately desk personnel was able to move us quickly but since we had to be up and out early in the AM and start another long day of driving tired.

Such a nice experiance that...
