Great location and wonderful hotel.

Liked: I stayed prior to boarding my cruise. The location was perfect. We easily walked to the ship with our luggage. The hotel and room was very clean and new feeling. The hotel and room even smelled wonderful. The mattress was very comfortable.
Disliked: Breakfast was ok.

Clean and nice, but needs...

Liked: Cleaniness of the rooms is always a huge component to us and they were very clean and well maintained. I REALLY appreciated that the mattresses had mattress covers on them to keep away bed bugs from travelers. Huge plus! Breakfast was pretty good and the staff helping with service were all very nice and helpful. My son has a banana allergy and Lupita was so nice to open a new box of muffins so there was no cross contamination. The pool area was nice but very small.
Disliked: We didn't like that there wasn't a restaurant in the hotel. Since the hotel is so far from any restaurants it made it difficult to grab a quick meal on the days when it was over 100°. Front Desk staff was ok, but some could have been nicer. I appreciate the safety of each room but there are some safety lights in each room that blinked a white light all night long which was distracting while sleeping. Maybe a red light would be a better option. It was so great to find a washer and dryer on our floor since it wasn't advertised on the website, but it needed better instructions on how to use it and some way of purchasing detergent. I asked the front desk and they were nice enough to give me a tide pod to do a small load.

Disliked: Staff was rude and didn't even allow more than 10 mins extra for checkout. It literally felt that we were being kicked out. The staff didn't even communicate any reasons politely. We got late to wakeup since we are from west coast. The hotel is too expensive. Per night vost was about $500. Valet parking was more expensive as compared to other Sea Port hotel that is right in front of the Harbor and has better location.
