Liked: Location. The hotel is only one block away from Zocalo.
Disliked: My room is beside street, very very noisy.

Great place to stay but...

Liked: The hotel had lots of old-world charm, and the location was good and close to the main square and the room was very large, comfortable and clean.
Disliked: The breakfast was terrible and so were the breakfast staff. The breakfast was certainly not up to the standard you would expect from a Hilton hotel, far from it. The Danish pastries were stale on most days of our stay. The scrambled eggs were horrible and the only things we could eat were the cereal and yoghurt, and most days the only flavour of yoghurt was green apple. The staff also expected you to clear away your own dishes, and if you didn't, they would stay on the table for a long time. On one morning several items needed replenishing, but the staff were too busy drinking coffee and watching videos in the kitchen area instead of doing there job.

Good location, fair price for...

Liked: Good location very near zocalo. Bedding was good quality and the bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful and I was able to leave luggage between trips. Small gym and free laundry facilities meant it was good value for the price.
Disliked: The breakfast wasn’t great so I tended to eat out. I had told them in advance I couldn’t eat dairy/eggs but there was no other option and it was the same every day with limited choice. And the hotel is a bit tatty round the edges but I guess you get what you pay for.
