Nice hotel for visting Ciudad...
Liked: Great location very close to the center, the stuff was great, definitely recommended
Disliked: The structure is a bit old, we had some problems in understand how the shower works but for the rest everything was ok!!

Exceptional
Liked: It's a lovely old building, very friendly and helpful staff. They were prompt to help solve a minor problem with hot water. The location is wonderful a block away from the Zocale. Lovely experience.
Disliked: The bathroom exhaust was a little noisy. They could put the water in glass bottles instead of plastic

Liked: Location was perfect. "Centro Historico"Breakfast was okay. The coffee/hot water were always lukewarm and didn't have burners below them to keep them hot. Food variety/quality was average.
Disliked: 1. The AC provided barely okay cooling. It didn't matter if I set it to 69 or 64, they had clearly tweaked it so that it only cooled until 70 degrees F and it didn't matter what I set it to. On a couple of nights, it was a bit warm and uncomfortable as a result. They are trying to save energy, which might be very expensive in Mexico.2. The shower water was barely okay warm. We asked them to send someone up to the room to make the water a bit hotter but that didn't happen. They are trying to save energy, which might be very expensive in Mexico.

Wonderful, historic hotel in proximity...
Liked: The historic hotel is so lovely & interesting - in a perfect spot w/in short walk to Royal Palace & Metropolitan Cathedral. The breakfast was excellent and the cafe in the front/entryway of the hotel is also very good. Staff were so kind/helpful!Our room was spacious and comfy and clean. I’d come back again!
Disliked: The only thing was if the room had a fridge but this didn’t really affect our plans much.
