Liked: The staff was very friendly and professional.

Short stay but very comfortable.

Liked: The location is perfect, well connected by public transport and close to the main attraction walking. The room was large, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is the standard US style and was included in the room. The staff is nice and helping. If planning to return to Chicago, this hotel will be my first choice, if available.

Liked: This hotel is in walking distance of many restaurants, shops and a mile from Navy Pier.
Disliked: The property scored a 3 out of 10 in our assessment. This hotel applies additional charges of $15 per night for higher-floor rooms requests, $25-$50 for early check-in depending on the arrival time, and valet parking at $65 per night but we were charged $69, in which you are only permitted to call for the car two times and then you are charged a $25 fee for each additional time. (This was also not disclosed at booking or check in, but it’s printed on the back of your ticket) The hotel is located right next door to a fire station, which was not disclosed on Booking.com or the hotel's website. So if you’re hoping for a quiet night, this is not the place to stay. The quality of the beds was rated 2 out of 10, as they were very firm and not at all comfortable, although four pillows were provided. The ac in the rooms are locked to 65(you cannot go any lower) and they auto adjust back up to 72. No way to keep the room any cooler. With the ac vent being on the side wall back in the corner only half of the room stayed cool. Water pressure for the sinks was rated 2 out of 10, and the toilets received a rating of 2 out of 10 due to the need to hold the handles continuously to complete the flush. There was also some type of brown stains on the bathroom wallpaper, along with tape apparently holding it up. Additionally, breakfast received a 2/10 score. While there were options everything was either undercooked, over cooked or stale and the fruit had definitely seen better days. For the price of this hotel, we can definitely say we would not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel.

Liked: Location was great for walking to many things like shopping, restaurants, and the river. Breakfast was good, it has all the normal stuff. Everyone should be able to find something to eat. It was a very comfortable stay. Valet was great, very fast and easy to work with.
