Disliked: The hallways were 80 degrees. However the rooms were cold as we could control the temperature. Housekeeping only every other day,that was disappointing.

Liked: Location worked for me and the breakfast was simple and convenient.
Disliked: Floor was wet by the air conditioning unit. Smelled musty and almost urine like, but I assume and would really hope that it was just from the AC unit. I would have said something, but I was staying just one night and it was already late. It would not be easy to see but I definitely felt it with my shoes off when I was closing the curtains. Then I smelled it. Smelled like urine.

Liked: Front desk clerk Catherine, was very kind & patient with us as Booking.com messed up our reservation. Later in the evening, we were looking for a place ser ing seafood boils, Catherine recommended Shake, Shake, 2 minutes up the street. It was delicious!
Disliked: Sliding door to bathroom room heavy & hard to slide. The TV remote room didnt work; I think it needed new batteries. For a 2 queen room, it was snall.

Exceptional

Liked: This review is specifically about the staff at the Charlotte/Pineville Hampton. My son lost his Apple Watch in our room. We searched the entire room and couldn’t find it. I left a note at the front desk with our contact information. About a week and a half later, I called them to inquire if it had been found…..and they had it! They held it for us until we were able to make it back to Charlotte 3 weeks later. This is a level of honesty and integrity we often find lacking in many interactions today. Thank you Pineville Hampton!

Horrible from beginning to end...

Liked: The location
Disliked: The facility was filthy the rooms were nasty. The hallway smelt horrible . My faucet was broken and moving from side to side . Staff was not pleasant I’ve stayed at a Hampton before and this particular one was very disappointing.! This facility was soo unpleasant and stink I checked out at 7 that morning . If I would’ve known this facility would be that filthy I would have booked else where. And I let it be known to staff too.
