Not good
Disliked: I guess I picked the wrong location…..basically situated right on “Skid Row”….And connected to Boston Medical Center. Homeless and addicts everywhere surrounding the area. Honestly about every 15 minutes we’re hearing sirens from Ambulances and police. All…..night…..My husband wanted to leave the moment we arrived after a 6 hour drive but it was a non refundable reservation so we decided to stick it out. The lady at the desk was kind and gave us a studio room and let us check in early. The room was nice and roomy but needed to be updated for sure. The tv was missing the remote, the AC was constantly running on and off and very loud. The little mini fridge was making loud noises. There is a Cuban restaurant downstairs which my husband was excited to go to…..unfortunately, it was the worst meal he’s ever had. $35 dish and couldn’t even eat it. (They did not charge him for it). Add all that to the constant sound of sirens and it was enough to make you want to leave….which we did early 4am after our 2 nights there. We packed up and bought our bags down and out front of the hotel. I waited with our belongings while my husband walked to the parking garage to get the car. The security guard was sitting inside attached to his cell phone as I sat outside alone with our bags and all the “zombies” walking past. One street person came hobbling up to me asking me what time it was….i didn’t answer as not to make contact with him, and he started saying something about me being too good etc etc….I started to get up to get the attention of the security who was inside “chilling” but I also didn’t want to leave my bags there alone. Luckily the Boston Globe guy came pulling up and he helped me by making the guys inside know to come out and stay with me…at that point the street guy hobbled away from the hotel entrance into the darkness. Then a big RAT
