Very clean; courteous staff; great breakfast! Everything was better then expected.

Liked: The room was spacious
Disliked: We were there for 7 days with 3 Grandchildren. The room was never cleaned or replenished all 7 days. A hot tub is listed and they do not have one. The swimming pool had no working air conditioning and when asked why, the clerk told me to just open the door outside. It was 95 degrees outside and the pool room was a sauna inside, I told her opening the door would not help and it was also a safety hazard. Anyone could walk in. The soap dispensers at the sink were up on the wall and if you have children, they are unable to reach them to wash their hands. I had to go down and ask for a small bar of facial soap for them to use. I also had to go down to the desk and exchange our towels every time we used them, along with having to ask for toilet paper, garbage bags, coffee ect….. We had to empty our own garbage daily and there were also no towels at the pool, so we had to use our room towels and exchange them whenever we did use the horribly hot pool. Our room was paid in advance and the recharged my credit card, so I had to deal with that and have it taken off. Then when leaving, they had the wrong total that I actually paid for the room and when I asked, the girl at the desk said it looks like Chelsea refunded a day. I said there is no refund on my card, and she said that it Will and happens at check out. Well I haven’t seen it, so not sure where it is. We go to Frankenmuth every year for a week and we have never experienced anything as horrible as we did here. I would not recommend staying here. I was told by Chelsea that they are short handed and that’s why things were not getting done. We arrived there on Sunday during the heatwave week of June. The garbage next to the ice machine was overflowing and was very smelly. I told Chelsea that it needed to be emptied. That garbage can stayed that way until Friday, 6 days later it was emptied. Just in time for us to leave.

Disliked: Pool was very cold. No housekeeping services if you are staying multiple days. Afternoon staff not efficient or accommodating. No hot tub despite saying their was online. Stayed at other Hamptons and they were wonderful. Birch Run needs to improve!

Okay nothing to write home...

Disliked: No hot tub/indoor pool very cold. Continental breakfast not very prepared efficiently, biscuits & gravy was empty at 9am and no more was to made, the waffle batter tasted like flour. When the hotel was full of guests and there was many pa patrons in the breakfast area.
