For the money, we felt this was VERY high on our list of positive accommodations! Clean; well kept rooms; personable staff; very satisfied with our stay. Wonderful hot breakfast with much more than pastries and coffee. Will definitely stay again - good for Hampton!
Liked: Very clean; friendly, professional staff.

Breakfast Servers and Man Receptionist...
Liked: I liked the hotel and the aesthetics of the hotel. It was really nice. Also, Relisha and Sonia were awesome! Also Petra in housekeeping: an angel. Absolutely great attitudes and so helpful. They are the saving grace for my rating of the hotel. I gave it a 9 because of them.
Disliked: The breakfast servers and this Black man at the front desk were horrible. The breakfast servers were rude and not helpful. They had attitudes like they didn?t want to be working. Not a good look for hospitality. And the front desk man (a lighter skinned black man with glasses kinda big) wasn?t necessarily rude but he was out of order. We made the mistake of letting our yorkie walk down with us to the breakfast area after we let her outside to do her business. We weren?t staying down there. We were grabbing our breakfast and leaving. So we just let her walk with us. The front desk man told us the breakfast area is pet free. Totally fine. We had no issues with that, it?s understandable. We asked our 11 yr old daughter to come and get the dog. Our daughter was not in the breakfast area, she was in the hallway right before you get to the pool. A little closer to the front area. The man saw us tell her to get the dog. He was very aware that she was our child. My husband loudly called her over to us to get our dog. As we were leaving the coffee and tea station, we noticed him talking to our daughter telling her about having the dog in the breakfast area. He came from behind the front desk to walk in very close proximity of her to tell her the exact same thing he just told us. My husband and I were very upset with the fact that he decided to go up to our child to tell her the exact same thing he JUST told us. He saw us call her over and tell her to remove our dog from the breakfast area. He was aware she was in the hallway holding the dog. The issue is that, it?s inappropriate to go talk to a child when the parents are in the same vicinity and you KNOW who her parents are. We were VERY understanding when he told us the first time. It?s agreeable! We had no complaints with him making us aware about our dog. Cool, no problem. We solved it by having our daughter come get her and stand in the hallway away from the breakfast area.
