On the overall it was...

Liked: Location was excellent, as I had to attend 2025 IEEE PES General Meeting, July 27-31, 2025 at J W Marriott Hotel on the 2nd Street, at a stone's throw distance only.Breakfast has to be improved as fruits served or choices have been limited. Good quality of apple, orange/citrus fruit required in addition to banana (which I can't take being diabetic patient).Room was okay; but the slow discharge of water in the wash-hand basin.Cleaning staff, although not understanding English very well, were very cooperative and cordial.
Disliked: Liking or disliking already explained enough through the response to the above-mentioned text. Yes, one more thing. Elevator management is to be improved.

Good stay overall, nice comfy...

Liked: Great location and a fair price. Hotel was clean and well presented.
Disliked: My booking wasn’t available on the system despite receiving a confirmation email, making check-in difficult and subsequent connection to the wireless internet.The elevators are particularly poor, stopping at every floor despite not requesting them.

An excellent weekend stay!!

Liked: Great location in downtown Austin. Walking distance to amazing restaurants. Room was clean and very comfortable. Staff with exceptional customer service.
Disliked: Have no dislikes

Disliked: The lifts need to be reprogrammed so when you press the up/down buttons the lift does not stop on your floor to take you the opposite way.

Liked: Nothing but the location
Disliked: They did not honor our reservation. We were placed in a room with an old couch instead of a proper bed and had to make the bed ourselves as no housekeeping was available. The facility is outdated, poorly maintained, and has an unpleasant

Location is great but service...

Liked: Great location & nice breakfast.
Disliked: There were only one or two functioning elevators for a 16-floor hotel, leading to long wait times. When we checked in, the bed sheets were dirty and stained. The valet took nearly 45 minutes to retrieve our car on the first day, and there was no body wash provided in the room. It was never refilled during our stay.
