Hampton Hotel

Not great.

Liked: Location close to centre of town.
Disliked: Cleanliness - some bedding and towels stained. Rooms very tired. No soap in rooms. Have to ask for bar in Reception so no ability to wash hands with soap. Rooms smelled damp, single sash windows . Locks on door flimsy. Weed being smoked in some rooms. Some of the bathrooms we had, had a lot of mould around bath/shower. One room toilet cracked. No headboards on beds. Food at breakfast low quality and not necessarily a hygienic setup, e.g. taking bread for toast out of packet.

Liked: It was an overnight stay and was clean and tidy
Disliked: No real worries. Parking was probably the worst thing

Liked: All the staff were great. The breakfast was lovely. Plenty of it and nice and hot.
Disliked: The bed was not very comfortable. The shower/toilet was very small. Lacked toiletries. Had to ask for soap and toilet paper.

Disliked: Poor furnishings, uncomfortable bed, kept awake till 4am with people arguing in the hotel. Clients from the pub/hotel smoking and shouting outside to the early hours underneath our second floor window.
