Unlucky with booking, staff on...
Liked: Location, had parking for 25$
Disliked: Booked a King Size room, did jot have one available.Further, all pics show a walk in shower. Had booked two rooms (on different floors), both had bath with yucky shower curtain. Decor had seen its better days in the 80s, however, for the price adequate enough.Breakfast was what to be expected. However, no regular plates or silverware. They produce more rubbish in one hour than the hotel should produce in a day.

Comfortable hotel and good breakfast.
Liked: The hotel is good and comfortable. The staff is was friendly. However there were slow to check in and inconsistent when asking for water bottles, some would give guests water and said they would charge 3 dollars.
Disliked: It is close to downtown and is quiet.

Liked: The property is clean and beds(not pillows) were very comfortable. Location is great !
Disliked: Pillows were lumpyBreakfast eggs were undercookedNo tea in the room. Just coffeeOnly paper cups in the room. Had to call for proper glassesSink drainage extremely slow in the bathroomToilet paper is very thin. My grand daughter was locked out of her room without her id and the front desk wouldn’t call us to get id. They judged two 18 year olds who weren’t telling the truth. Thankfully i walked down to meet my uber eats in the lobby and found them at the desk in a panic. 500 dollars a room per night. $2200 plus for two nights for standard rooms. Crazy price. Don’t mind the price if there was value. That is five star prices with three star experience.

Nice location, friendly staff and...
Liked: Location made it easy to walk everywhere.
Disliked: Limited breakfast options for those with food allergies. It seemed like there were too few elevators for the size of the hotel.

Good location, not especially spendy,...
Liked: Location is excellent, right downtown (but it's quiet at night and backs onto the police station); we took a metro bus from the airport (which is miles away); cheap and easy. We decided not to rent a car; we could walk to almost everything we wanted (although Halifax is hilly), and downtown is under construction so driving in it does not look a treat. Hotel is not cheap but is worth it: nice amenities (although we didn't use the pool). Good and plentiful breakfast, as good as these buffets are, coffee and tea in the lobby all day. Something I hadn't seen before: the doors to the hallway and bathroom are very thick and substantial. The shower is a torrent -- I seriously worried about the drain capacity -- but very decadent. All the staff with whom we interacted were friendly and professional.
Disliked: There are only 2 elevators for a 16 floor hotel, so it was occasionally slow and/or crowded (not that this is a real issue). We missed the rooms being serviced twice: both times were after 4:30 when we were back and tired. The scrambled eggs in the breakfast buffet were a bit runny for our taste.
