Stay was suffice

Disliked: We had to eat our breakfast in the bar area as no seating available in restaurant.

Good stay but does need...

Liked: Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Breakfast was chaos. No organisation . No one taking room numbers, so anyone could have walked in off the street. No fried eggs, just scrambled... but breakfast was okay and we had to carry trays into the bar so wasn't ideal or relaxing.

The hotel was well placed...

Liked: Breakfast was a self serve buffet with lots of choices. The quality of food served was very good. The staff attending the dining area were extremely helpful.
Disliked: Everything was good for our short stay, but if we had a longer time in York, we would have needed more drawers, or a second bedside cabinet to accommodate extra clothing.

Comfortable stay at York Hampton...

Liked: Proximity to train station. Overall clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Room 232 was close to an electrical unit that made loud noise during bathroom usage. It was fixed by maintenance but kept recurring. Breakfast spread and quality can be improved. Will be good to have more fresh fruit and porridge.
