Really excellent place to stay from the man at the check in, who was really polite and helpful and was smiling and made us feel really welcome, to all the staff and the room which was really comfortable - no complaints at all. Pillows a little soft but that really not a complaint. So thank you and the staff for a lovely stay.
Liked: Everything from the time we got there to the time we left.
Disliked: The pillows were slightly soft but not a complaint.

Unexpected luxury overnight stay
Liked: The staff deserve special mention. They were all lovely. We were going to a gig at the Globe Theatre and the location of the hotel couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was very good. Hotel was beautiful, looked and smelled brand new. Comfy bed, spacious bathroom.
Disliked: The in-room coffee wasn’t the best. Other than that, nothing!

Good nights sleep and plenty...
Liked: The reception staff when we arrived were excellent, they greeted us with a smile and helped with everything. When leaving the following day the reception staff that were on did not speak to us and when my husband approached the reception desk walked away. Breakfast was not too bad. Plenty to choose from, sausages not that great. One member of staff was very helpful, but when my husband tried to talk to another member of staff she ignored him. I had booked the mobility room due to being in a wheelchair. Only downside was the bed was too close to the wall where the emergency cord was so I could not get my wheelchair down that side so I had to sleep on the opposite side so I could transfer into it. The bed was comfortable, so were the pillows. The bathroom was a decent size, but the pull down seat was a bit of a let down since it wobbled.
Disliked: I think the bed should have been more into the centre of the room so wheelchairs can go down either side and emergency cords to both sides of the bed. A portable grab rail would have being a good offer.

Dissapointing customer service
Liked: The family room was clean, towels provided, TV, and air conditioning/temperature control unit, just not able to use as no electricity in our room!
Disliked: Our electricity went off 10 minutes after arriving in our room! We had unpacked, so made our way downstairs to report the power cut to reception staff on our way out to a music venue. I said we would be late back and they said it wasn’t a problem. They had my mobile number and email if they needed to contact me. When we returned at 01.20 am, we weren’t informed by management of the continued power cut and assumed all was well, and only found out when we got back to our room. I left my disabled daughter and her Dad in the room, with the door onto the hallway propped open with a chair, to get some light into the room as she’s scared of the dark. When I went down to report it to reception staff, they didn’t apologise but gave us another room 3 floors down. They didn’t seem concerned about the inconvenience and upset caused by needing to pack up in the dark and move at 01.30, with only 10% phone battery to light our way. They said haven’t you got a phone charger, which I replied yes, but I can’t use it if I have no electricity! They didn’t offer to help or lend me a torch etc. On leaving the first room, I noticed that the internal door handle had fallen off and all the wiring and components had fallen out. Next morning the promised coeliac friendly cooked breakfast options weren’t available, despite being reassured that they would be after checking prior to arrival and when booking in. The cook was very apologetic but wasn’t aware of this need prior to me asking about it.The Deputy Manager Kirsty was very sympathetic when I explained my concerns after breakfast, and took me back to the original room to retrieve the things I had missed packing in the dark. She apologised for our disappointing experience.
