Disappointing

Liked: Beds were comfortable and pleasant staff.
Disliked: We had booked for 2 adults 1 kid. Room had 1 chair to sit on. The kids bed sofa bed and was made so couldn't even sit on that. Went for breakfast and all they had hot food was bacon and beans. Went bk to room for a shower and there wasn't hot water. Woke up during the night with noise of rattling off the key card.

Perfect for a Short Break...

Liked: It is almost facing the main train/bus station so it is incredibly handy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good comfortable lobby to sit and relax in. Which is great when you have time to kill after check out.Our standouts were the comfortable beds and the ‘make your own’ waffle machines at breakfast.
Disliked: The reception/lobby is on the first floor. If stairs are an issue for you, or you have suitcases, it can be quite a wait on either of the two small lifts to get to reception.Newcastle is obviously a popular place for hen/stag parties, and it can get a bit dodgy quite early on a Saturday. I can see why the hotel has a security guard on the door on a Friday and Saturday night!

Liked: Perfect location
Disliked: They did not serve any egg dishes on two days running, even though scrambled eggs should have been there. The explanation proovided was that they had run out and were waiting for a delivery. On the second morning there were no hot tomatoes or brown toast either.

Great location for a quick...

Liked: Location is excellent
Disliked: Needing security check to get in the front door was a bit alarming. Also applepay wasn’t accepted.
