Great hotel for a stopover.

Liked: Hotel was easy to find once we worked out that a lift had to be used. It was only a short walk from the main Terminal entrance. The staff were were friendly and attentive and the room was very comfortable. There was a good choice at breakfast both hot and cold and something for everyone's taste. My wife and I would choose to stay here if we have a stopover at Stanstead in future.
Disliked: There was only one thing we didn't like on our first visit and that was very poor water pressure both in the sink and shower. Unfortunately, I didn't complain to the hotel at the time as I thought this was a universal problem throughout the hotel. On our return visit a week later I mentioned this to reception when they were allocating our room. I actually said that we don't want room 168 due to very poor water pressure and they were quite amazed as that was the first they had heard of it. They apologised and gave us a room on the top floor and the water pressure was perfect.....problem solved.

Liked: Staff were really nice and helpful.Checked out at 4:30 am and was through airport check in by 4:50 am. Really close location
Disliked: Was close to airport but not well signposted

A perfect airport hotel!

Liked: So close to walk to the airport. Comfortable rooms. Delicious fresh breakfast served in a lovely spacious area.No noise at nighttime.

Liked: It had a lovely atmosphere. It was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. Sophie on reception was particularly helpful when I had an issue with my suitcase.
