Very good

Room lovely. Staff nowhere to...

Liked: The breakfast was ok, quite standard. The room was very clean.
Disliked: Upon arrival, we waited for reception, there were no staff to greet us. A workman called the staff to come and see us. We were rols that we needed to pay for parking, this was disappointing at £20 per night!!!! After parking our car, we waited a further 10 minutes at reception to be seen again to obtain our room key. Very disappointing after a 300 mile journey! Where were all of the staff?? The dinner was very standard, not very appetising. We will not be staying after the above factors.

Liked: Rooms were spacious and clean. Booked 2 room for family of 5 which was decent size. Asked for cot bed for a 2 year old and this was confirmed upon booking.
Disliked: Adjoining rooms unavailable for familyCot bed was not provided despite confirmation on booing. Staff at Hotel said cot beds they have are small and will not suit a 2 year old.

Liked: Katie the duty night manager who was very helpful
Disliked: A lack of maintenance in the room.Items needing attention were a sink tap which sprayed directly at you and a flashing ceiling lamp in the bathroom and a phone that did not work.Also in the Bathroom there was a brown mark on the wall by the toilet roll which was missed by the room attendant.It was brought to the attention of the duty manager who noted the issues.

Disliked: The breakfast options were terribleIf you’re vegetarian or halal you are restricted to eggs hash browns beans and some bakery. The most limited breakfast range I’ve had at a hotel. Gluten free options are worse.
