Hampton By Hilton London City

This was a very clean hotel. Security was good, but the guests were not prevented from attending breakfast inappropriately dressed! It was a bit pricey considering it's quite basic really.

Liked: Check-in was easy, rooms were clean
Disliked: No 'bacon' for the English breakfast as apparently, it's not on the menu. Also, whole families of guests coming to breakfast in PJ'S that they've slept in all night. Very young children operating red hot waffle machines and touching buffet food, but not taking it. People sitting bare foot, crossed legged on sofas to eat breakfast - where is the etiquette? This is England, Great Britain after all! No fruit tea's at breakfast or in the rooms either.

Liked: We liked the location around great places to eat, Uber easy pickup and drop off, we were given ice in a bucket for our room, All staff that we encountered were excellent and very accommodating, friendly. Breakfast was so good and well organized. No complaints at all.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The hotel was nice and light in reception and in the dining area. The staff were very good.
Disliked: Wasent keen on where the hotel was and we were given mobility rooms and we didn’t ask for that. Also there wasent much choice for gluten free at breakfast.

Friendly staff, great location, clean...

Liked: Very clean rooms, very friendly, professional and experienced staff members. Excellent location, with a few minutes walk to Aldgate East and short taxi ride to London city Airport.
Disliked: -

Good one can even recommend...

Liked: Location not to my liking. Staff at the reception specially those ladies from India were very warm helpful, always smiling. Guys during breakfast also very helpful, being vegetarian, l never have wafers but they prepared eggless ones and I like it.
Disliked: May be the lift was a problem, you cannot use lift both sides
