Hampton By Hilton London City

This was a very clean hotel. Security was good, but the guests were not prevented from attending breakfast inappropriately dressed! It was a bit pricey considering it's quite basic really.

Liked: Check-in was easy, rooms were clean
Disliked: No 'bacon' for the English breakfast as apparently, it's not on the menu. Also, whole families of guests coming to breakfast in PJ'S that they've slept in all night. Very young children operating red hot waffle machines and touching buffet food, but not taking it. People sitting bare foot, crossed legged on sofas to eat breakfast - where is the etiquette? This is England, Great Britain after all! No fruit tea's at breakfast or in the rooms either.

Disliked: Fire alarm went off at 6.30am, was informed by other guests all was okay, no communication from staff, however we didn’t go all the way downstairs so they were probably there

Liked: the location, most of the staff were friendly
Disliked: being told our room would be ready in 30/40 minutes and to wait and it wasn’t ready for 3 hours after we were told it’d be 30/40 minutes, so we spent one of our 3 days sitting in the lobby

Disliked: Not the best hilton we have stayed in. Don't believe the room was valued for money. Can't get a simple fried egg for breakfast Bed was really uncomfortable. Pillows need replacing
