Hampton By Hilton London City, London

This was a very clean hotel. Security was good, but the guests were not prevented from attending breakfast inappropriately dressed! It was a bit pricey considering it's quite basic really.

Liked: Check-in was easy, rooms were clean
Disliked: No 'bacon' for the English breakfast as apparently, it's not on the menu. Also, whole families of guests coming to breakfast in PJ'S that they've slept in all night. Very young children operating red hot waffle machines and touching buffet food, but not taking it. People sitting bare foot, crossed legged on sofas to eat breakfast - where is the etiquette? This is England, Great Britain after all! No fruit tea's at breakfast or in the rooms either.

Happy with it

Liked: The hotel location is easy to access by bus/tube. There are plenty of restaurants near by. The view might not be present but the top view is nice since you will have a city view. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room is clean and quite.
Disliked: Since we spend a couple of nights there, the breakfast got very boring. The scrambled eggs and sausage are not good but other food there is fine.

Disappointing

Liked: Air conditioning and plumbing facilities were functioning good.Public areas seemed clean and smelled good.
Disliked: Poor house keeping, Tea bar was not organised ,not cleaned properly or replenished while making the room.Exactly the same dishes for all the 5 breakfasts we had (How come?!).Lot of dust laden on furniture edges( bed .Thank you

Liked: the room was nice and clean, maybe a little bit smaller then expected but enough for a few days stay. location is convenient quite close to a metro station where you can potentially go anywhere
Disliked: breakfast is included but it's not a real plus to choose this hotel, very basic nothing special and the quality is below average although very similar to other hotels of this chain (hampton). The area at night might be a bit tricky with strange people walking around, indeed the hotel has security systems applied to main doors (which is good!).
