This was a very clean hotel. Security was good, but the guests were not prevented from attending breakfast inappropriately dressed! It was a bit pricey considering it's quite basic really.

Liked: Check-in was easy, rooms were clean
Disliked: No 'bacon' for the English breakfast as apparently, it's not on the menu. Also, whole families of guests coming to breakfast in PJ'S that they've slept in all night. Very young children operating red hot waffle machines and touching buffet food, but not taking it. People sitting bare foot, crossed legged on sofas to eat breakfast - where is the etiquette? This is England, Great Britain after all! No fruit tea's at breakfast or in the rooms either.

Disliked: There isn’t a table / work station in the rooms, I’ve never stayed in a hotel before here there wasn’t a table and chairs, even if this wasn’t a work trip you always need table/chair to throw your belongings on. :)

Liked: Comfy bed. Relatively modern decor in a central location, convenient for Brick Lane and Shoreditch.
Disliked: The staff at reception were rude, e.g. chatting casually amongst themselves whilst a queue of people were waiting to be checked in. They eventually checked us in and told us our room wasn't ready because we were early – not great but fine. And then they made us go through a full check in a second time later that afternoon, which was also weird and a waste of our time. My card was declined by the machine initially and the girl at reception sneered which was super rude, especially considering it was a machine error and nothing to do with my ability to pay! Breakfast and coffee was absolutely awful.

Very good

Liked: The room was very clean, friendly staff, very close to the metro and two small convenient stores. In the public area in the lobby one can have a dinner from the take-away which is super nice - instead of expensive restaurants. The breakfast is delicious especially waffles and fresh fruit.
Disliked: There was absolutely no closet in the room to put our clothes in. The problem with the breakfast that it was the same for 5 days

Liked: Comfy beds and nice en suite bathroom. Excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Welcome tray could have had more milk and teabags and maybe biscuits.
