A stylish and smart choice in the heart of the city, Hampton By Hilton Belfast City Centre offers a relaxed, modern vibe just a short distance from Belfast’s top music venues. Just 1.4 miles from the SSE Arena and only a minute's walk from Great Victoria Street rail station, this hotel is perfect for fans heading out to a big night. Expect clean, contemporary rooms with comfy Hampton beds™, flat-screen TVs, and complimentary WiFi throughout the property.

Why Concert-goers love it

You can’t beat the location—close enough to walk or grab a quick ride to major venues, but set just far enough back to enjoy a more peaceful night’s sleep after the encore. With check-out at noon, there’s no rush the next morning. The hotel’s proximity to public transport means getting in and out is a breeze, even after a late gig.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends who want to stay central and connected
  • Solo travelers on a music pilgrimage to Belfast
  • Couples making a weekend of a long-awaited show
  • Fans looking for a quiet, comfy place to recharge
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who don’t want to sacrifice comfort

Food and Drink Options

Fuel up before the show—or recover afterward. The hotel serves a packed continental breakfast daily (ideal for late risers), and the lobby bar offers light meals, snacks, and drinks. Craving something at 2 a.m.? The 24/7 snack hub has you covered. Plenty of restaurants and pubs are also just a short walk away.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself is quieter, you’re within easy reach of Belfast’s buzzing bar scene. Head out to nearby pubs, lounges, and live music spots, or unwind with a drink in the hotel’s casual lobby bar before calling it a night.

What People Say

Guests rave about the location, especially for events at SSE Arena and the Grand Opera House. Reviewers also love the friendly staff, clean modern rooms, and the value for money. The breakfast gets frequent shoutouts, especially by late risers who appreciate the flexible options.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the rooms are a bit compact, especially for travelers with lots of luggage. Others note that while the area is central, it can be a bit quiet at night—great for sleep, but maybe not ideal if you're hunting for an afterparty right outside your door.

The Bottom Line

A clean, modern, and well-located base for concert-goers who want comfort, convenience, and great value in the heart of Belfast.

Disappointing

Liked: Breakfast
Disliked: The breakfast was very good, and the main bed was comfortable. However, the sofa bed for the children was simply a joke – extremely uncomfortable. I asked at reception around 4 pm, speaking with Pablo, to arrange a topper so my 11-year-old son could sleep better. He completely ignored my request. In the end, I had to use the blanket from my own bed and another from the sofa bed, but it was still terrible. What they provided wasn’t even a proper mattress, just a thin topper. If you’re traveling with children, I really don’t recommend staying here. In my opinion, this hotel does not deserve 4 stars – more like 3. The reception service was disappointing, although the staff at breakfast were very nice and attentive.

Disliked: Maybe the price, but most major cities charge top dollar these days…

Just okay

Liked: Only thing that I liked is the staff at the reception
Disliked: Nothing at all. The room was mentioned as family room but there is no space at all inside the room. Very small room for family. The bathroom basin was the worst. We had keep the towel so that the water doesn't drips out during the use. Also the cleaner didn't clean the room at all just tucked the bed.

Great few days at Hampton...

Liked: Location is very good, close to the city. the rooms are comfortable, spacious and easily accessible. Good selection of food for breakfast and breakfast serves until 11 on weekends so there's no alarms needed to be set. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Carpark right outside is subsidised.
Disliked: On our first evening we waited an hour for our food and then over half an hour when we ordered dessert. The staff were helpful and apologetic when we brought it to their attention. Just a small blip on a great stay
