Overpriced

Liked: Staff very helpful at reception. Breakfast cooked well
Disliked: In room safe not working, desk lamp not working, bathroom extractor fan not working, room was not cleaned or tea and coffee replenished during stay, net curtains were black on the bottom, balcony floor not swept and wooden rails broken and rotted so did not feel safe, spa changing rooms had no directional signage therefore got lost and most lockers out of use as batteries were flat, steam room not working, courtyard gardens and sun deck area needed weeding. Restaurant staff at breakfast very unorganised. Generally lack of attention to detail but all adds up to make it feel less special.

Liked: nice rooms good bathroom staff excellent and a very good gymdecent resteraunt and food very good
Disliked: unfortunately rooms don't have air con and it was 28 degrees during the day and very stuffy overnight

Disliked: Shower was small ,fitting a bath and seperate shower in did not work for me

The staff are all so...

Liked: The rooms were fantastic, even the basic room was lovely. The building itself was like a Tardis! And we loved the tennis courts.
Disliked: There was nothing not to like.

Great hotel and staff, but...

Liked: The facilities were great, the staff were incredibly friendly, A special shout out to Liam, Josh (on reception), Woody (in the restaurant) and Ben (in the restaurant). They all made our stay much better!
Disliked: In room 126 there was a strange water dripping noise from the ac unit in the room so we turned it off to stop it throughout the night, also I was woken up early in the morning by a fog horn sound coming from the plumbing in the bathroom which happened on multiple occasions. On the second night in room 131 the ac unit again made a noise like a steam engine (albeit a quiet steam engine). This did wake me up at 06:00 sadly which was frustrating.
