Overall, it was great! Definitely...

Liked: Location was great! Walking distance to just about everything. Really didn’t need a car at all.
Disliked: Wish it had a pool.

Liked: Location
Disliked: DISAPPOINTING! The only thing this hotel has going for it is location. At $576 a night we expected more. The room was small, not even a chair, no dresser or closet in the room, no safe, a tiny bathroom. Dirty rug. Extremely disappointed in this for the price we paid. Only stayed 1 night. Will not go there again and dont recommend.

great vacation

Liked: Location was perfect. Close to shops, restaurants, etc.
Disliked: This was a family group of 6 rooms which I was paying for. Checking in I told the front desk to put every room with my CC. I talked with the front desk people THREE TIMES. my sons were charged to their cards!!!! VERY UNHAPPY

Comfortable, Centrally Located Newport Stay

Liked: Location of the hotel can't be beat. Right on the wharf with a perfect view of the fireworks. Has a nice restaurant right next door and is centrally located in downtown Newport, walking distance to everything. Hotel was very clean and nice, room was smaller but clean and comfortable. It is on the pricey side, but less expensive than the Marriott. We'd definitely stay at Hammett's again. Also the valet parking was super convenient and speedy. Lastly they offer complimentary coffee in the lobby every morning, a nice touch.
Disliked: No complaints.
