It was okay for one...

Liked: i liked the room we had, very spacious and it was what we needed for a night.
Disliked: when we first arrived there the staff wasn’t very pleasant nor pleased to see or welcome us. we first waited over 20 minutes for a member of staff to greet us (we arrived at 3:30pm during the scheduled check in hours) and we were ringing up and pressing the bell and still to no avail. when the staff member finally did meet us he consistently answered personal phone calls and didn’t give us very much attention in the 10 mins we were talking to him. he proceeded to take photos of mine and my friends (who also had a room) licences and asked to take front and back pictures of our banking cards until we said that if he needed a photo we would cover everything except the last 4 numbers. Unfortunately due to lack of empathy and consideration we were shown it wasn’t the best first impression to make on someone who’s paying to use your services. the hotel reception is pretty out of date and the doers don’t stay closed so unfortunately during our long wait we were cold! We were pretty disappointed with the lack of customer services that we received.

Disliked: It smelled like mould in the room the bed was so uncomfortable

Disliked: The room was sooo noisy. Could hear all movement from above roomsThe kettle was disgusting. Tea/Coffee was out of the question !

Disliked: Toilet was leaking so every 15mins the cistern would start filling then stop.

Liked: This is the 4th time staying at Halswell Lodge.I come back not just convenience, but because I like it.
Disliked: Car upholstery cleaner smell... ? First time for this. Mainly in hallway but also stron in room.
