Disliked: There was a wedding celebration which made for a noisy night with some revellers causing noise at 1.30 in the morning

Liked: Friendly receptionist whilst checking in.
Disliked: Night porter Lewis was rude and argumentative when serving drinks in the front bar. Telling me to complain if I don’t like his attitude!

Liked: The hotel grounds and staff are amazing, very friendly and will definitely visit again, stayed after a 80s concert at Darlington Arena and booked a spa the day after , very clean nice facilities and had 2 course lunch with 90 mins use of spa hot tubs ,sauna etc , see you again soon
Disliked: The room was abit small for what I paid with no view but trees , apart from that room was very nice and clean.

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds....

Liked: I booked 2 rooms, one for me and my partner and one for my son. Both were double rooms. It was such a reasonable price, I wasn’t expecting the hotel to be of the standard it was. It was set in extensive, beautiful grounds, which sadly we didn’t have time to explore as we were only staying one night as we were going to an event in the evening. The rooms were of good size with lovely white bed linen and pristine white towels in the bathroom. The bed was comfy and I had a really good night’s sleep. Breakfast is buffet style at weekend. Everything was fresh, both hot and cold. If they run out of anything the staff would rectify it immediately upon request. I checked in online before we arrived so there were no forms to fill in on arrival. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Everything ran smoothly.

Good food and comfortable beds...

Liked: Location is fabulous and the beds are really comfortable. The food in the restaurant was lovely. We stayed for dinner and breakfast.
Disliked: The spa was not free to residents which was a big disappointment. Pedicure was disappointing. Staff were in short supply and we had to wait for everything.
