Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Liked: Friendliness/overall helpfulness of all of the staff personnel.
Disliked: Lobby music too loud and needs a heater/exhaust vent system in the bathrooms.

It was a great choice...

Liked: My room overlooked the bay, and was exactly the right temperature. It was clean and the TV made a great addition. I would book again.
Disliked: Everything was wonderful! The food was tasty and had good portions, the waiters and other hotel employees were polite and very attentive.

Liked: Location was the best.
Disliked: Pillows were too soft for my liking.Breakfast service was slow. Fortunately we did not have an early schedule to attend to.

Absolutely worth the rate.

Liked: I was greeted with exceptionally professional, friendly, and caring ladies at the front desk, who took extra time to find a room for me that was on a lower level (I hate elevators), but also away from the side of the building that had a live band outside of it that night. They were friendly, warm, and terrific. Additionally, the location is fantastic - right on the boardwalk, so that we just exited the building and had access to the fantastic Halifax boardwalk. I would 1000% stay here and visit again.

The second nicest hotel room...

Liked: Great location! Clean, modern room with excellent shower, bed and linens. Excellent restaurant/bar with great service.
Disliked: Every hotel with a pool/hot tub should have a bathing suit dryer. I used one at a public rec centre in Nanaimo last March and don’t understand why every place with a pool doesn’t have one. Also, no steam room.
