A real treat

Liked: It always feels a treat to stay at Halifax Hall. It is very comfortable with great food and nice extras like the Tunnocks teacakes.

Liked: Loved he decor and size of windows and that the window opened. Hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful.
Disliked: Unfortunately my friend is disabled and on arrival we were faced with steep steps and lack of parking space. Her bags were heavy so she could not carry them herself. I had to carry them into the hotel. She had to manage the steps. If I had known beforehand the directions to the disabled parking bay that would have made our arrival much easier as there is ramp access. On the second night there was no milk in the corridor fridges. Staff helpfully gave replenishments but it meant going to ground floor to find staff.

Disliked: Menu in the dining room has not changed much after 3 visits.I would have liked more than one chair in the bedroom.

Lovely little boutique stay close...

Liked: The snacks were a lovely touch, nice homey vibe and great close to the university accommodation but couldn’t hear too much in the night which was good. Towels were also fluffy!
Disliked: I would love a bath but the shower was good too!
