Halfway House Inn Country Lodge is located just off the A37 and features free on-site parking. A chilled and relaxing stay...

Liked: The staff were very accommodating, the food was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. We arrived on our motorbikes and the staff indicated a safe are to park up which was secured by CCTV. We enjoyed our 1 night stay, relaxed and refreshed for our onward journey.
Disliked: Nothing.

Welcoming host, clean and cosy...

Liked: Steve the host was brilliant, even called us before we arrived to see if we’d like dinner and greeted us on arrival. The accommodation was large, very clean and comfortable. Large tv, nice balcony and large accessible bathroom. The setting of the accommodation was lovely, with a cosy pub/restaurant with a lake at the back. Lots of parking . We felt really welcome and would definitely recommend.

Excellent will stay again next...

Liked: Room was large and very clean, large bathroom. Good quality bed. Fan in room as it was very hot day. Good breakfast. Nice location sat round the lake watching the birds and a guy fishing.

A very Pleasant evening in...

Liked: The Staff & Locals were so friendly. We finished our dinner (excellent food) and went into the bar for 1 final drink. That was 9pm we didn't leave till way after11pm (Talking about steam engines). This is one of a dying breed of friendly family owned pubs/ Inn's that just make you feel so welcome. Both myself and my colleague will defiantly be back
