Liked: What a fantastic stay! Staff were amazing and helpful. We had to arrive later than planned and the hotel couldn't have been more helpful, even with a hand drawn map to show us to our room! Thank you!

Excellent food, friendly welcome, cosy.

Liked: Very Friendly welcome, the food is excellent, I've stayed in various rooms here and they are well appointed and the beds are some of the best I've slept in. Stayed in the Shepherds hut this time, very well done , perhaps best for a single traveller but not impossible for two. Small kitchen useful if you are that sort of guest. When im in that area its the place i always try to stay.

Liked: Great food ( dinner and breakfast) and friendly and helpful staff. Pretty garden spaces, if weather is nice. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, with everything we needed.

Liked: Lovely rooms and a friendly atmosphere in a peaceful countryside setting
Disliked: We didn't realise that the rooms were in a separate location a short walk away from the pub which is ok as long as it doesn't rain. We had a very good evening meal but the breakfast was disappointing. Quality ingredients were either overcooked or cold and very slow service.
