Good value, convenient for one...

Liked: Pleasant room. Nice shower. Good basic facilities.
Disliked: Due to departure time, didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on quality of the food.

Really disappointing and a terrible...

Liked: The location.
Disliked: Outdated bedroom and bathroom. Noisy headboard, no mattress topper on one bed so the springs could be felt. Three times throughout the night there was an horrendous loud noise that was ‘probably’ the pipework/boiling warming up.Dust over the telephone and tea stains down the bedside cabinet. Skirting boards in the bathroom were dusty. No bin in the bathroom. The bath looked to have dirty bits in it so didn’t bother to use the shower. There wasn’t a member of staff available on checking out to point out the issues.

Good family run hotel staff...

Liked: Convenient stop for our onward journey, easy to find on the main road. staff very nice and helpful
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike.

Good but could do better.

Liked: The bar area was modern and well-maintained; the staff were courteous and professional.
Disliked: The room was inadequately cleaned, with visible cobwebs and dust accumulation on the skirting boards. The television malfunctioned, displaying a persistent purple hue. Black mold was present in a corner of the room, appearing to be spreading to the curtains.
